Here to help
Our mission is to support Western Australian artists and crew to get through a crisis or emergency. All applications are assessed on a confidential and case-by-case basis. Before applying, please ensure you read the information below.

Artist Relief Fund WA supports Western Australian professional performing arts workers from theatre, film and television: on and off stage, in front of and behind the camera. This includes actors, dancers, opera performers, crew, directors, creatives, designers and voiceover artists.
Applicants must provide proof of their professional involvement in the Western Australian performing arts industry.
We are unable to directly assist those who work primarily in the music industry.
Please see our list of additional resources for assistance channels available to individuals that we may not be able to assist, including musicians, performers based outside of Western Australia, visual artists and other individuals who work outside of the performing arts industry.

Artist Relief Fund WA is run by a volunteer Board. Each application for assistance is discussed by the Board and assessed on a case-by-case basis. A Board member may make contact with applicants to discuss their circumstances and request additional information where appropriate.
As the Board are all volunteers, we do our best to deal with all applications as quickly as possible. We currently meet fortnightly to discuss and assess applications. It is important to know that all matters referred are kept in the strictest of confidence.

Artist Relief Fund WA is committed to supporting artists and crew through difficult times. To further assist, we have compiled a list of resources that may be able to provide additional assistance.
